Rules and Guidelines:

  1. Above all Spirit of the Game shall prevail. These rules are for the protection of all and they will be enforced. We will remove players and families that do not adhere to these guidelines. We ask for help from parents, players, coaches, and others in keeping all of us safe while we enjoy returning to ultimate.

  2. The rules are subject to change at board discretion

    1. The Board made these guidelines using the best recommended practices of the CDC and local health officials.

    2. We will make changes to and update these guidelines as necessary throughout the year

  3. Coaches

    1. All vaccinated coaches will present a vaccination card with their code of conduct and concussion certification

    2. All non vaccinated coaches will be required to wear a mask during all games and practices

    3. Coaches will be allowed to remove the mask while participating in a point , but must mask up as soon as the point ends.

  4. Sidelines

    1. Coaches will encourage parents to socially distance and will arrange the sidelines to limit inter-parental interaction (preferably across the fields).

    2. Teams will set up across the fields from each other and not share a sideline.

      1. When this is not possible, each team shall select one half of the sideline as theirs. They will remain on that half and a 5 yard gap will be maintained.

      2. Violation of the gap will be a 1 point assessment, this includes coaches.

      3. The gap shall be demarcated by two demarcation discs or cones, as agreed upon by the coaches before the game.

  5. Positive tests

    1. Coaches will make the league aware of any positive tests on their team (including players, siblings, and parents)

    2. The player that tested positive (and anyone who came in contact) shall quarantine for 14 days from date of exposure. Players affected will receive a discount on their player fee and a free KYU disc

    3. Should a player get a negative test after the two weeks, they will be reinstated and can keep the disc

  6. Forfeits

    1. Should a team not have five players to field a team, they will forfeit.

    2. Should it be for COVID purposes, the winning team will be awarded a point differential equal to that team’s average winning point differential. Should that differential be less than 5, the team will be awarded a 5-0 win.

    3. There will be no make up games.

    4. Should the lack of players be not covid related, the game will be scored 13-0.
